Join Collins Aerospace in Banbury, UK, where we're seeking passionate individuals for three pivotal Manufacturing Engineer positions across our vibrant team.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our team towards achieving our business goals, ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance while driving innovation in aerospace manufacturing.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting your career journey. Skills can be cultivated and developed through hands-on experience, training programs, and a willingness to learn on the job. What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

  • Support production, manage project work, and maintain technical standards to ensure product quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers for daily production and project needs.
  • Provide proactive support to operations and contribute to ongoing projects, including new product and equipment introductions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct quality investigations and implement effective containment measures.
  • Introduce solutions aimed at reducing manufacturing costs and improving productivity levels.

What will you bring to the role?

Essential skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn new technologies and processes quickly.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing principles and willingness to develop expertise in aerospace manufacturing.

Desirable skills:

  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems or willingness to learn.
  • Exposure to CNC machining or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with quality management systems or relevant certifications.
  • Any exposure to project management methodologies or tools.
  • Interest in aerospace manufacturing and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization.
