Our client, a prominent provider in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking Electronic Assemblers to join their expanding team near Portsmouth. This contract role involves performing various technical assembly processes in compliance with safety, quality, and ITAR standards, supporting the continued growth of the business.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly tasks under a microscope for up to eight hours a day
  • Conduct 2nd and 3rd optical visual inspections, die attach, wire bond, stud pull, wire dressing, wire pull, shear pull, flip chip, re-flow, incoming/outgoing inspections, wafer wash, dicing, and pick & place
  • Understand specifications and criteria for all processes
  • Utilise Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiently
  • Be willing to undergo training to operate assembly equipment
  • Review assembly specifications to ensure compliance with protocols


Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in soldering and assembly tasks
  • Background in electronics or electrical manufacturing, preferably with IPC soldering certification
  • Comfortable performing visual inspections under a microscope
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Understanding of manufacturing procedures and safety standards
  • Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions and protocols
  • Willingness to work initially on a six-month temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role


This position offers a structured work schedule of 38.75 hours per week, with working hours from 7am-4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 7am-12.30pm on Fridays.
