Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit an Vehicle Certification Homologation Engineer, and the role comes with a umbrella contract rate of £31.88 per hour (Inside IR35).
As an Vehicle Certification Homologation Engineer, you will be responsible for a detailed understanding of current and future BEV efficiency certification in major and developing markets.
In your first few weeks in this Vehicle Certification Homologation Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Lead the creation and continuous improvement of certification data handling process and tools, whilst having close interaction with compliance, legislation and certification teams
- Be responsible for detailed understanding of current and future BEV efficiency certification in major and developing markets
To apply for this Vehicle Certification Homologation Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Good communication skills and teamwork - ability to work cross-functionally with various customers at all levels
- Strong foundation knowledge of legislative cycles and regulations related to EV range homologation (WLTP GTR15, EPA 5-Cycle CFR 40 Part 600, CLTC GBT (phone number removed)-2021, UNECE R154, R83, etc)
- Strong knowledge of the mathematics needed to get to the efficiency/EV range declaration process of different legislation process globally (WLTP & EPA NAS critical)
