QHSE Engineer. Our client, a leading electronics firm with over 100 years of experience in bringing electronic products to life from concept to creation to end customer, is seeking a QHSE Engineer.

As the QHSE Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures across both our client's Electronics and Product Services divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a small team to ensure compliance with all QHSE policies and procedures across the business.
  • Support the QHSE Manager with the daily implementation of the QHSE Management Systems.
  • Conduct Internal Audits for Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental processes.
  • Complete H&S, CoSHH, and Environmental Risk Assessments for all processes throughout the business.
  • Facilitate comprehensive Corrective Actions investigations into identified non-conformances. Identify root causes, implement meaningful and robust corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of issues, and continuously improve processes within the organization.
  • Manage the relevant Waste Streams generated by the business, ensuring compliance with all applicable Environmental Legislation.
  • Provide Customer Support for Quality-related issues.
  • Provide the QHSE Manager with weekly Quality Metric data, in support of the Departmental KPIs and objectives.
  • Ensure high-quality standards are set and maintained throughout all aspects of the organization.
  • Promote the "HELP" culture throughout the organization.
  • Follow the principles of Continual Improvement throughout all aspects of the role.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Degree-level in Engineering or similar.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages, particularly Excel (Essential), Baan & Agile (Desirable).
  • IoSH Managing Safely.
  • Root-cause and corrective actions.
  • Risk Assessments and Internal auditing.
  • Sound working knowledge of ISO45001 & ISO9001.
  • NEBOSH General Cert and/or NEBOSH Environmental Cert - highly beneficial.
  • Clear and effective communicator with all levels within the organization, and externally with Suppliers and Customers.
  • Good organizational skills and self-motivated.

QHSE Engineer Remuneration:

  • Salary: 35,000 per annum.
  • Monday - Friday, 07:30 am - 15:30 pm.
  • 26 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • Company pension scheme.
