Partner or Legal Director – Commercial Insurance – New Initiative
  
The London office of this leading insurance brand is looking to establish a legal offering to handle a range of commercial insurance work. Our client is interested in speaking with experienced lawyers (particularly at Legal Director and / or Partner level) with experience in Property Damage and Subrogated Recoveries and Coverage. The team is also interested in establishing expertise in Financial Lines as well as niche areas such as cyber, aviation and marine work.
  
Overview

Job Title: Partner or Legal Director Location: London Salary: £Excellent Reports to: Board Work pattern: Hybrid / remote Previous Experience: Thorough experience in insurance litigation ideally from a recognised national law firm. At this stage, the Board are considering senior lateral hires who are interested in taking on a new challenge.

Property Damage and Subrogated Loss – the intention is to create an offering which is capable of handling a mix of work including damage caused by fire and flood as well as other insured perils. Financial Lines – Professional indemnity including claims brought against solicitors and other professionals such as architects and other operators in the construction sector; Fraud – the Board are keen to speak with experienced lawyers with fraud experience whether concerning exaggerated claims or other areas of fraud; Niche areas – such as Cyber and Aviation and Marine.
