A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BARTENDER AT THE GANTRY LONDON HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the F&B Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following. 

Develops high quality relationships with guests, from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay, in order to foster loyalty Working and co-operating with colleagues to always enhance the guest experience To assist and support the F&B Management in creating an environment and ensure smooth operation of the department. To consistently strive for innovation and creativity in product and service, that will increase volume and maximize sales and profitability and provide consistent quality service in the Bar and Restaurant Ensuring there is a high standard of personal hygiene and personal presentation throughout the team Ensure all Health & Safety /Food safety compliance are adhered to. Reports any hazard, accident, loss, or damage to management Ensure accuracy of all reservations

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of bartender, you will need the following qualities and skills. 

Previous food & beverage experience in a supervisory role Deliver exceptional customer experiences all the time Passionate and willingness to learn Ability to work under pressure Effective communication within the department and ensure that the Department Manager is kept well informed of any problems/queries that have arisen Have strong knowledge of Hotel’s products: - Food & Beverage and auditing procedures Fully conversant with COSHH regulations and Risk Assessments for the department Ability to work morning, afternoon/evening, and weekends Effective organizational skills, able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a demanding workload Excellent presentation skills
