Stockport Grammar School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and motivated part-time teacher of Physics from September 2024. A willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school is essential.

Person Specification

The successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate the following:

A good honours degree in Physics or a Physics-related degree, a PGCE or equivalent and QTSExperience of delivering outstanding lessonsSignificant understanding of Teaching & Learning pedagogyExperience of developing and implementing Schemes of WorkProven ability to build close professional relationships with other colleaguesGood skills in ICT, and in verbal and written communicationProven ability to develop vision, to plan and to innovateCommitment to continuing professional developmentCommitment to Safeguarding
