Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Hours are rotating shift.

Location Wellingborough

2 days and then 2 nights shifts then 4 days off each week

Salary £44,600 plus overtime

Opportunity for an Multi skilled maintenance engineer to work with one of the leading specialists in manufacturing and working with large plant machinery Manufacturers.

The business has been running for more than 30 years.

As the Multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will ensure all manufacturing machinery is maintained to a high standard to meet production demands. Detailed responsibilities are:

  • Single and three-phase electrical installations
  • Ensuring the smooth running of machines
  • Attending Mechanical equipment breakdowns and other reactive maintenance tasks
  • Electrical fault finding
  • Identifying electrical components

The Person

  • Ideally experience in repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical plant equipmentboth in workshop and logistics building.Must be able to work unsupervised with the necessary skills to see repairsthrough from diagnostic to effective repair and testing.
  • Large machines maintenance Good oral and written communication skills.Working knowledge of 12/24v electrical systems.Ability to fault find using electrical schematics.
