Cost Controller

Location:
Manchester or Slough

We are currently looking for a Cost Controller.

Key

responsibilities:

Ensure accurate month-end close (accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, cost center reviews) Report and explain results to Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders Plan costs and FTEs during Budget and Outlook cycles Provide financial advice and support to decision making: advise on costs FTEs, planning and reporting Support improvement initiatives Be a trusted partner to Finance and Business stakeholders
Key requirements:
Degree in a relevant Finance related field At least 3 years of tangible post-qualified experience in finance related functions (controlling preferred) Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively in order to explain financial concepts to non-finance people Solid organizational, planning, critical thinking, and problem solving skills Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, and general computer skills particularly with accounting systems (SAP preferred) and reporting (BW) Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI preferred) Fluent in English (oral and written)
