In-House Conveyancing Solicitor | Hampshire | Disruptive Property Scale-Up

Due to their remarkable recent growth, this disruptive Property business is searching for an ambitious Conveyancing Solicitor to join its rapidly scaling in-house legal team.

You will be working closely with the General Counsel, focusing on a range of Property matters.

Offering an intuitive online marketplace to allow the streamlining of the home buy/sell process, they are helping property owners and first-time buyers achieve their goals by utilising their efficient and streamlined platform.

Their purpose is to help to reform the property marketplace in the UK, cutting costs and providing better control for their customers. During this period of growth, they are seeking ambitious and entrepreneurial individuals across all areas of the business to get on board and help them to achieve their mission.

Responsibilities

The business is seeking an experienced conveyancer to join their high-performing in-house legal team. You will run your own conveyancing caseload, whilst reporting to the General Counsel and working closely alongside the Conveyancing Assistant.

You will be liaising with a range of clients, including solicitors and estate agents. It will also be your duty to maintain communication with panel members and external parties, ensuring compliance with their SLAs and meeting their specific requirements.

You will be utilising case management systems, using the Land Registry Portal, and complying with AML legislation, CQS requirements and much more. You will work closely with the Senior Conveyancing Manager and the wider senior management team on a range of property matters. This includes staying informed about updates within the business and among referral partners.

Requirements

2+ PQE as a Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed ConveyancerExperience with leasehold, new build and shared ownership sale and purchasesExperience with Case Management Systems, Land Registry Portal, Online SDLT
