PFW - Collections & Delivery DriverJoin the teamWe need dedicated and motivated individuals to work with us this Christmas to make sure all the packages get to everyone in time for the big dayAs a Collections and Delivery Driver for Angard Staffing, You will be responsible for driving a long wheel-based van, delivering parcels on a dedicated route, quickly and efficiently, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service, you will be a key player in ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of large parcels. This role is perfect for individuals who really enjoy a physically active work environment.Day-to-day of the role:
  • Planning your delivery route and carrying out safety checks on your vehicle.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 30kg, equivalent to 32 bags of sugar.
  • Then you'll be busy collecting and delivering parcels to households and businesses.
  • You'll go the extra mile for our customers as you deliver everything from birthday presents to vital business information.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will need the following:"Full UK Driving licence, with no more than six points."Excellent customer service skills."Upbeat and self-motivated."Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather."Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role."Excellent organisational skills."Resilience and flexibilityAdditional InformationPay rates up until 28 th of October£14.04 p/hPeak Pay Rates (28 th October 2024 to 12 th January 2025 only)£ 16.77 p/h There may also be an uplift in pay for overtime (Over 40 hours) & Bank Holidays Interested?We can't wait to hear from you.
