HSE Manager

You will bring leadership, inspiration, professionalism and exceptional HSE understanding and behaviours and an ability to effectively form strong relationships within the company and with external parties, whilst ensuring company quality, HSE and business operating procedures are adhered to and developed.
The position will cover all health, safety and environmental activities and is anticipated to have significant interface with all aspects of the company. A key part of the role will be to help define, drive and mentor HSE standards throughout the business. Please get in touch for a full list of technical competencies required.
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Developing and implementing effective company wide communication strategies and managing internal and external relationships during project stages
- Promoting, reporting and ensuring HSE and security protocols throughout all aspects of project/business activities
- Ensuring integrity and efficiency of all assets by cost effectively managing a maintenance program
- Improving efficiencies by effective CAPEX and purchasing plans for equipment
- Supporting space management and bay planning by liaising with the Production Manager
Qualifications/Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma and relevant institution membership, for example IMechE and IOSH/ OSHCR
- Significant experience as HSE Advisor/Manager, overseeing multidisciplinary teams in a manufacturing organisation
- HSE delivery, development and implementation of procedures, promotion and education demonstrable experience
