Bright Horizons are looking for seasonal Bank Staff to support our nurseries across the Beckenham area

Are you looking for part time, flexible working in an Early Years setting? Are you a student looking for work over the holiday periods that will give you hands on experience whilst being paid?

Our Bright Flex team blend the convenience of bank/locum/agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee – giving people within this team the flexibility to work when and where they want, offering an hourly rate from £11.98 per hour for unqualified staff, £12.31 for L2 qualified staff and £12.78 for L3+ qualified staff

What you’ll be doing
  • Support Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS, by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones
  • Supervise the children throughout the day, ensuring their safety
  • Work as part of a larger team, to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands i.e. hygiene standards and room preparation
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day-to-day basis

What we’re looking for

  • Full and Relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification (desirable)

  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child

  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable – embracing working cultures in different nurseries
     

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
