Holmer Green Senior School is a popular 11 to 18 school with 1100 students (140+ in the Sixth Form) and is expanding. We are in the top 10% of schools nationally for KS4 progress and in the top 5% of schools nationally for KS5 progress. The site has a range of new, modern facilities.
We can offer 8 staff training days (not the 5 you find in most schools), a two-week October half term and professional development of a high standard. We take our staff well-being seriously and offer weekly activities, like team sports, quiz nights and access to the brand-new Fitness Suite.
Holmer Green Senior School is offering an exceptional opportunity to lead our Construction Department. We are looking for a passionate person who is enthusiastic about Technology. You would be ambitious for our students and community, support our inclusive ethos and welcome the chance to flourish in a great school. The teaching timetable will include teaching across all key stages, including Sixth Form.
The Head of Department would look to continue to develop Construction as an area of excellence, by bringing the subject area to life and promoting it beyond the classroom through enrichment activities. The Head of Department will form part of the middle leadership team and will contribute to whole school CPD, school development and peer coaching programmes.
