We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Band 4 Mental Health Support Time and Recovery Worker to work in our developing Primary Care Mental Health Team.
We have a post available in the Stafford area, based at Weeping Cross Health Centre.
We welcome applications from staff with experience of working in mental health who are interested in providing responsive and holistic services for people with mental health problems within a primary care setting.

Main duties of the job
- Working under the supervision of a Mental Health Practitioner.
- The delivery of brief, short term interventions for people with mental health needs.
- Mental Health promotion involving the development of effective relationships between primary care and local communities and other services in the voluntary and statutory sector.
- Working closely with Social Prescribers and the voluntary and community sector.
- Bridging the gap between primary care and other provider services.
- Working with one of the Primary Care Networks in South Staffordshire

Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria- NVQ Level 2 in Health Care/Health Science OR NVQ Level 3 or commitment towards achieving it.
- Certificate in Mental Health or Commitment to work towards achieving it
- Experience of working with people with mental health needs.
- Supporting people with activities of daily living and promoting self-care and social functioning
- Experience of working under pressure and assisting in crisis management.
- Working in a community setting.
