The ECMX Digital Marketing Solutions team is chartered with embedding SEO within the fabric of Amex marketing activity. A core part of this will be to provide an Enterprise SEO Framework that will enable American Express to drive high impact SEO programs enterprise wide and globally.

We are looking for dedicated SEO Lead with previous hand’s on knowledge with SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help lead enterprise SEO Strategy for international markets

  • Help Support enterprise SEO Strategy for several international markets

  • Help maintain governance for SEO across the enterprise

  • Support the operations of enhancing marketing camapigns with SEO recommendations and maintaining content hubs

  • Leverage SEO & Web Analytics to define what winning looks like

  • Coordination of technical efforts with multiple tech teams and global market business partners

  • Manage and deliver SEO projects from start to finish

  • Work with cross functional departments to develop and track all details of SEO initiatives

  • Train and work with the developers to meet SEO standards when developing web experiences: to make ensure that all pages are SEO optimized

  • Evangelise SEO across the organisation

  • Create educational/training best practice documentation

  • Assist in managing vendors & agencies

Required skills:

  • 2-3 years of SEO Experience

  • Experience within a similar role in an in-house team is a plus

  • A proven track record in delivering good SEO results

  • Knowledgeable of the latest SEO best practices

  • Ability to work within a team and independently

  • Strong technical skills and understanding of web architecture (HTML, JavaScript use within SEO)

  • Good communication skills

  • Good organisational, time management, and analytical skills

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
