Responsibilities:

Drafting, prosecuting and managing patent applications related to Mechanical EngineeringConducting patentability and freedom-to-operate analysesCollaborating with inventors and stakeholders to understand technical innovations and facilitate the patent processProviding strategic advice on intellectual property matters to clients

Requirements:

NQ-5 years’ PQETechnical specialisation in Mechanical EngineeringDemonstrated expertise in areas such as fluid mechanics, electromechanical systems, robotics, control systems, materials engineering and manufacturingProven experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applicationsStrong analytical and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Mechanical EngineeringPrevious experience working in a reputable IP firmRegistration with the USPTO or equivalent patent office
