Job Details

A top ten Fire Engineering firm seek a Graduate/Fire Engineer to join a team of highly skilled and talented engineers. 
Working on exciting projects in a variety of sectors with input across the full project life cycle, youâll provide strategic fire safety advice across the UK for the whole construction industry following a clearly defined career path.

Supported by a senior Fire Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Attend design team meetings internally/externally
  • Site visits â Riba stages 4/5
  • Review and mark up design proposals
  • Liaising with design team members including Architects and clients
  • Critical thinking in supporting the design team to overcome the Fire Safety challenges
  • Produce technical reports to support the design through approval process
  • Undertaking detailed Fire Engineering analysis including using computer modelling tools i.e., CFD, Evacuation and Structural Analysis modelling
  • Meeting and discussions with the Approving Authorities
Qualifications/expectations:
  • A degree in Fire Engineering or related subject
  • Student member of the Institute of Fire Engineers (Advantageous) 
  • Ambitious and a great attitude/application for learning
  • Diligent and creative
  • Able to manage your time effectively
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Friendly and approachable
