TXM Recruit are looking to acquire a skilled Composite Laminator who ideally has experience working in the fast-paced engineering sector. The successful candidate will be passionate about developing a career in the Formula 1 sector, having extensive experience operating as a composite laminator in the motorsport/F1 environment.

This is an enticing and growth fulfilling opportunity which has just arisen within a leading Formula 1 Team. This organisation is one of the longest lasting teams on the grid. There is a real forward drive happening with this client, with the winter build well under way.

Skills

• A minimum of 5+ years experience within F1/Motorsport
• Good knowledge of laminating processes

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling carbon fibre components utilising engineering drawings and build manuals
• Laminating and tooling across a broad range of products
• Ensure materials used are as specified and laid up in accordance with lay-up instructions and / or the manuals
• Laminate with good attention to detail
• Vacuum bag parts to a high standard
• Assist as required in all aspects of Production including preparation of moulds and de-moulding
• Complete paperwork to the required standard
