Role
This academic role is central to the DMU Education Academy’s work as a catalyst and enabler of an exceptional student experience. As part of a dynamic team, the postholder will take a leadership role in developing, delivering and evaluating a comprehensive and compelling CPD offer across the university that supports the faculties and aligns to the university’s strategic focus and priorities. The postholder will develop a research-informed and multi-modal CPD programme to ensure high levels of staff engagement and which will positively impact the student experience as evidenced by metrics and indicators
Ideal Candidate
You will be a motivated and experienced educational practitioner with a detailed understanding of academic CPD requirements in Higher Education. Key role requirements include:
- Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy
- A proven and successful track record of developing and delivering strategy-informed educational and academic professional development activities
- Demonstrable understanding of the current trends, context and issues for Higher Education in relation to academic development and proven experience of collecting robust data to tackle gaps in educational attainment
- Demonstrable excellence in research in research or scholarly activities relevant to educational design and academic development and practice
- Commitment to working on campus for three days per week, with two days remote working.

£42,978 to £54,395 per annum. Grade G
