PE is a warm and supportive department, within the Social Sciences Faculty, which also encompasses Psychology, Business and Economics, and Sociology. The PE Department has a great track record of academic results, and co-curricular opportunities. Our dedicated and hard-working team are enthusiastic, and relentless in their desire to engage and motivate students. The team currently consists of four full-time members of staff, one part-time member of staff, and a PE technician.

We can boast wonderful students with a thirst for learning and a desire to embrace the wider opportunities available to them at school. We achieve exceptional academic results each year. This year we ranked 7th in The Times’ best secondary and grammar schools in the southeast. Our staff are collaborative and support each other to be their best; it is difficult to say whether the best thing about working here is the students or the staff
