Class 2 Driver

Rochdale, United Kingdom Driver Hire Manchester North & Oldham Full time

We are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 ADR Driver for our customer based in the OL16 postcode.

This role will be a temp to perm (13 weeks). Once permanent your salary will be £33,928 per annual (paid monthly).

Please note, this customer overtime after 10 hours.

Contracted hours are based on an average of 55 hours per week, start times are normally set and could be between 06:00am & 08:00am.

Handball will be involved.

What we are looking for:

  • Category C Entitlement (1 year required - 2 years preferred).
  • Full & Valid CPC.
  • Full & Valid Digi.
  • No more than 6 points.
  • 1 year Class 2 experience.
  • Ideally have an ADR licence (with experience).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with tail lifts , curtain side vehicles, pump trucks.
  • Good local knowledge of road network is essential.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.
  • Completing paperwork accurately as instructed.
  • Dealing with customers in a polite manner.
  • Delivering general haulage.
  • Daily duties will be delivering palletised goods around the North West area approximately 16 drops and then local collections to return to our depot in Rochdale driving a modern curtain sider with tail lift and electric pump trucks.

Benefits:

  • 27 days annual leave.
  • Bonus scheme split into 3 remits of £1000 each.
  • Monthly pay.
