Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Shift)

Hereford (Commutable from: Ross-on-Wye, Ledbury, Abergavenny, and Leominster).

£40,000-£42,500 + Shift Pattern, 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) + Overtime+ Training + Holiday + Pension + Company Benefits

This is a long standing, multi-national company with sites across the globe. They are leaders within their industry and pride themselves on fantastic customer service thanks to their superior engineering and product specific knowledge.

In this role the responsibility will be to carry routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of production machinery. The successful candidate will be provided training to get up to speed and work a 4 on/ 4 off Shift Pattern (Days & Nights).

The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled, with a mechanical bias, hold an engineering qualification, have experience with hydraulics and pneumatics and have experience in a manufacturing environment.

The Role:

  • Reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Ensuring production targets are met safely.
  • 4 on 4 off Days and Nights 7-7 (Days for first 8 weeks)
  • £40,000-£42,500

The Person:

  • Mechanical and electrical engineering experience.
  • Manufacturing background.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Able to fault find and use a multimeter.
  • Familiar with pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes etc.
