Job title: Trials Technician
Location: Ridsdale
Salary: £37,263
What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring compliance with the requirements of SHE legislation and Business safe systems of work for self and others
- Working as part of a small trials team carrying out tests and trials on all types of munitions. Set up of trials arenas and instrumentation including high speed photography / weapon systems on tests and trials conducted at Ridsdale Range
- Ensuring all mechanical and instrumentation equipment used at Ridsdale is maintained and repaired to a high standard, and stored in suitable areas
- Ensuring documentation is maintained for the equipment in the online register
- Working with range documentation including Standard Operating Procedures
Your skills and experiences:
- Recognised mechanical, electrical or instrumentation qualification - minimum of BTEC level 3
- Ability to fault find electrical and mechanical systems
- Demonstrate theoretical and practical expertise in your field
- Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions
