Nurse Seekers a proud to be recruiting a Senior Third in Charge on behalf of a fantastic quality, run company based near Weybridge. Essentials

* Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent in childcare.

* Minimum of 1 years' experience within a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner role.

* Paediatric First Aid.

* Good communication skills and proficiency in the written and spoken English language.

* Extensive knowledge of EYFS and act in accordance with current legal and statutory frameworks, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* To establish daily routines that encourage independence for the children in line with best practise

* To implement EYFS and any other legal and statutory frameworks

* Direct and support the staff team as agreed with the Manager and implementing high standards of quality practices within the nursery.

* To provide high standards of childcare and education - including monitoring and reviews to ensure a safe and caring environment to enable the emotional, social, and educational development of all children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage indoors and outdoors.

* To comply with safeguarding policies, procedures, and the staff code of conduct.

* To undertake any duties set by the management team that will assist in the day-to-day running of the nursery

* Motivate and lead a team.

* Willing to work flexible hours between Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm.

* To support the aims and objectives of the nursery and to achieve a high standard of education and care for children from 3 months to 5 years

* Work in partnership with Parent/Carers and staff to ensure a high standard of care and education.

* To demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and children/colleague wellbeing.

* To ensure that any safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported appropriately in line with policy.

* Be responsible for implementing and monitoring systems of observation to enable children's progress and achievements to be regularly and effectively assessed and recorded.

* Support and contribute to staff meetings and Inset Days

* To support to plan and organise staffing schedules for the day.

* To assist with staff development and training.
