Transport Supervisor - Birmingham - 30,000

A global Logistics provider are actively seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to join their team in Birmingham. Package:

  • Salary - Up to 30k

The Role:

  • Routing company owned vehicles
  • You must Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
  • Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
  • Ensure all customers are kept up to date
  • All necessary admin must be completed
  • You will be working with the Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
  • Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies' requirements.

The Requirements:

  • Experience with a UK based Transport/logistics company
  • Transport route planning is experience required
  • Excellent geographical knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
