Due to a recent sales acquisition, our client based in Leeds City Centre have created a new vacancy for a Sales Negotiator/Progressor.

As a Sales Negotiator, you will be responsible for driving property sales by engaging with potential buyers, facilitating viewings, and negotiating offers. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment. You will play a key role in representing the company and promoting the property listings to prospective buyers, ultimately contributing to the success and growth of the business.

Experience is preferred but our client would also consider someone with the right qualities (strong communication skills, enjoys being part of an important team, good at negotiating, able to multi-task, pays particular attention to detail, sound at objection handling, and with a good track record of accurately completing administration tasks).

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

  • Booking viewings and valuations appointments
  • Arrange and attend viewings.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with potential buyers, understanding their preferences and requirements.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective buyers via phone, email, or in-person meetings, providing accurate information about available properties.
  • Schedule and conduct property viewings, showcasing key features and addressing any questions or concerns raised by buyers.

Sales Negotiation:

  • Following up valuations and leads both face to face and over the telephone, or through email and letters.
  • Negotiate offers between buyers and sellers, aiming to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while maximising sales revenue.
  • Advise buyers on pricing, market trends, and property value, guiding them through the purchasing process with confidence and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with sellers to evaluate offers and develop counteroffers as needed, facilitating productive negotiations to reach a successful outcome.

Administrative Support:

  • Register applicants and match applicants to properties.
  • Maintain accurate records of property listings, inquiries, viewings, and sales activities using the CRM system or other designated platforms.
  • Prepare and distribute sales contracts, purchase agreements, and other relevant documentation in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless communication and execution throughout the sales process.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or real estate is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and convey information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming objections and closing deals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for communication, documentation, and CRM management.
  • A positive attitude, resilience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.

The package:

  • Full Time Permanent position
  • Monday to Thursday 08:45am- 17:45pm 1 hour lunch; Fridays 08:45am- 17:15pm with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Please note: Saturday two on/two off (10.00am to 14.00pm). Once two Saturdays have been worked then a day off in lieu to be taken in the following fortnight.
  • Starting salary: GBP24,000 plus commission OTE 30k .
  • You will be expected to complete 5 sales per month bringing the potential earing to GBP450+ PCM. Once established in your role we would be expecting monthly sales completions to double. There is also the opportunity to receive additional commission on mortgage and conveyancing referrals.
  • Location: Leeds City Centre; LS1
  • Full clean driving license required or this role, 2x Manual lease cars available for business use only.
  • Annually 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
