Due to the continual growth of our company, we have an immediate opportunity for Time Served CNC Programmer/Setter/Operators to join a well-established Engineering Company based in Westhoughton, Bolton.
Company profile:
Established for almost 60 years with a reputation for quality and service within the manufacturing industry. We specialise in the production of high precision critical components, in large or small batches from a variety of materials including ferrous, nickel alloys and plastics for the food and hygiene, pharmaceutical and oil and gas industries.
Role & Requirements:
Applicants must have a good engineering background with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
The ability to read technical drawings and blueprints to produce quality components to the customers exacting requirements.
Experience in both CNC turning and milling.
A good knowledge of programming Fanuc systems. Mazatrol and Heidenheim would be advantageous but not essential.
The ability to select and set machine tools required for the part.
The ability to work on your own initiative, with good communication skills and attention to detail.
39 hour working week. Mon to Thurs 7.30am to 4.00pm. Friday 7.30am to 3.00 pm with overtime available.
Rate of pay is £15.00 to £17.00 dependent of experience. Overtime @ 1 1/3
