What You'll Be Doing:

Innovative Design & Development:

  • Spearhead mechanical design and civil interface projects, transforming preliminary client requirements into fully installed solutions.
  • Drive the creation of P&IDs, HAZOP studies, and comprehensive design risk assessments. Your expertise will turn blueprints into reality

Subcontractor Leadership:

  • Take charge of subcontractor work packages, from technical input during tendering to ensuring that every stage payment, documentation, and deliverable exceeds expectations.
  • Be the guardian of quality, managing variation orders, non-compliances, and defects with precision.

Project & Site Management:

  • Own the project timeline, overseeing everything from governance paperwork to on-site execution. Your stamp of approval on RAMS and test inspections will be the gold standard.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineering Mastery: Design cutting-edge wastewater M&E assets, such as Pumping Stations and CSOs, with associated civil structures.
  • Precision Equipment Sizing: Select the perfect pumps, mixers, and pipework to optimize performance.
  • Site Coordination: Lead early site investigations and coordinate with TMA and NRSWA to keep everything on track.
  • Strategic Procurement: Secure materials early and negotiate with suppliers for the best deals.
  • Collaborative Reviews: Provide critical input during design reviews and ensure that projects stay within budget.
  • Subcontractor Program Management: Keep subcontractors aligned and on schedule, ensuring seamless site activities with the client.
  • Inspection Excellence: Develop and review inspection Test Plans that uphold the highest standards.
What You'll Bring:
  • Qualifications: HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: A proven track record in mechanical design and civil engineering, with a deep understanding of wastewater systems.
