I am working with a reputable, forward thinking tax boutique/accountancy firm, who provide a range of tax, business advisory, and compliance services to clients on a global basis.
This firm have built an essence of trust and quality with its clients, with may clients referred on from other professional firms. Word of mouth has been a valuable tool in the expansion of this practice.
They are now recruiting for a senior practice accountant, who has the experience and drive to assist the firm in its controlled growth. With a genuine commitment to a proper work/life balance, with hybrid working and Friday afternoons off you won't want to miss this opportunity
Senior Accountant Position Overview
Review of financial statements as allocatedResponsibility for overseeing and monitoring all company secretarial matters and assisting junior team members with thisMain client contact on many clientsAssist directors, accounts manager and senior tax manager on any matters as requiredPreparation of technical or complex accountsBusiness advisory work, including technical and software support for clientsProduce both technical and topical articles to raise both own profile and firm's profileReview client ledgers as allocated, monitoring budgets and invoicingTraining and support junior team membersSupport the firm on AML mattersSupport the integration of new software into the firmAttend professional development/networking opportunitiesSupport accounts manager on technical matters and assist the senior team in decision makingCover the work of the Accounts manager when they are unavailable
Senior Accountant Position Requirements
AAT qualified or qualified by experienceHonest and TrustworthyAt least 3 years of experience in practice, including advisory experienceOrganised, and an understanding of the importance of working to deadlinesAdaptable to change and supportive of colleaguesExcellent communicatorCompetent and embracing of IT
Senior Accountant Position Remuneration
