Southfields Academy offers a comprehensive and well thought out support programme for Early Career Teachers led by Senior Staff and Lead Practitioners.

All Southfields Academy teaching staff experience to up to 20% PPA.

In addition, all Southfields MAT staff are entitled to free membership of the onsite Gym at Aspire, access to the Nursery@Aspire at a reduced cost, a cycle to work scheme and many other benefits.


What we are looking for:

We are looking for a motivated and inspiring teacher who is a specialist in Business Studies & Economics / Computing and will be able to teach this to students of all abilities up to A Level / Level 3.

Candidates will need excellent planning skills, good classroom management and be able to teach in a variety of teaching and learning styles. We are mostly looking for a like-minded candidate whose philosophy of education is based on developing Business Studies & Economics education and thinking and who is prepared to deliver this to students from a wide range of backgrounds.

The Business Studies & Economics department at Southfields Academy teaches Edexcel GCSE Business Studies, Edexcel Economics A-Level, Cambridge Technical Level 3 Business, Cambridge Technical Level 2 Business Admin, and Cambridge National Level 2 Enterprise and Marketing.
