Secretary/Typist

Salary cGBP25,000 full time equivalent - dependent on experience

Full Time/minimum 4 days per week - flexibility required hours 9am 5pm daily

Office based - Leeds 8 on site parking must live within 30 minutes travel time

Are you a proficient Secretary/Administrator with excellent audio typing skills?

If the answer is yes then our client, Nabarro McAllister & Co have the perfect role for you. They are a very busy, well established independent firm of General Practice chartered surveyors. The Practice based in North Leeds undertakes a variety of surveying disciplines both on a local and national basis.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Secretary/Typist to join their existing team. The ideal candidate should be well organised, have strong communication skills, both face to face and over the telephone and be able to cope within a fast paced and often stressful environment.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Audio TypingCopy typingGeneral secretarial dutiesOrganising, co-ordinating and maintaining diariesMaking and arranging appointmentsHandling telephone calls, enquiries and requests and dealing with them as appropriateDealing directly with clientsFiling/scanning The Person

Previous experience of working within a similar position or in a property/surveying environment would be advantageousStrong IT, typing and audio skillsMinimum 2 years experienceMust live within 30 minutes of the officeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to demonstrate organisational and planning skillsWorking to tight deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skillsMethodical and able to prioritise own workloadAbility to be discrete and maintain high levels of confidentiality If you feel that your skills and experience match the Secretary/Typist role criteria then please send your cv by return.
