Description

  • Supporting the finance team in daily accounting tasks.
  • Supporting the finance team with payroll and VAT returns.
  • Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities.
  • Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of regular financial analysis reports.
  • Collaborating with team members on the annual audit process.
  • Identifying and resolving invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues.
  • Performing other duties as required for the smooth operation of the department.

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Assistant should have:

  • Experience in payroll and VAT returns.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Excellent mathematical skills and an analytical mind.
  • High attention to detail with a knack for spotting numerical errors.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Offer

  • An estimated salary of £25,000 to £27,000
