Our US firm client's top-ranked Tax Group offers extensive experience advising clients on strategic tax planning, structuring and tax implementation issues associated with complex, cross-border transactions.

The firm is now looking to hire a candidate with 0-4 years' relevant post qualification experience, which has been acquired at a top tier practice in the London market, or other Common Law jurisdiction. The suitable candidate will have the desire and skillset to take on a high degree of responsibility. A high level of academic achievement is also required.

Associates who join will laterally participate in the mentor program, which specifically focusses on the unique needs which experienced Lawyers face during professional transitions. The firm also has a sophisticated training programme, which includes both in-house and external seminars and training sessions. Lawyers are provided with on-the-job training and constructive real-time partner feedback.

The formal training programme includes:

  • Regular corporate, finance and litigation know-how meetings.
  • Weekly and monthly training seminars and workshops for all levels, covering legal topics relevant to the firm's practice areas and skills. These are presented by Partners, Associates and external specialists, KCs and other professionals.
  • Live video-links to seminars, presented across the firm's network of offices.
  • A number of pro bono opportunities are also available to Lawyers, through the pro bono programme.
