Site Installation Engineer Position

Temp-Perm
GBP16.15 per hour, increasing to GBP16.65 per hour after 3 months

Based out of Westgate (Includes travel around the country and working away from home)
Subsistence and accommodation (digs) paid

The company creates innovative solutions to improve their clients' living and working environments, specifically focusing on building acoustic housing for generators in the energy sector.

Job Role:

  • Execute high-quality installations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and meet project deadlines
  • Work off-site regularly to complete installations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow safe working practices
  • Read and understand drawings to complete installations
  • Operate access and lifting equipment safely
  • Assist in general fabrication, welding, and fitting when needed
  • Ensure site is demobilised safely and waste is disposed of appropriately

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in mechanical shop manufacturing and site installation
  • Professional, conscientious, and self-motivated
  • Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork
  • Attention to detail

Required Qualifications:

  • UK Driving License
  • CSCS, PASMA, and IPAF certifications
  • Forklift truck license (training can be provided if necessary)
