Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students, ensuring the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters a love for learning and supports students' social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and share best practices.
- Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing targeted support when needed.
- Work closely with parents and caregivers to communicate students' progress and encourage their involvement in their child's education.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest educational trends and innovations.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and expectations for all students.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience teaching Key Stage 1.
- A strong passion for primary education and a deep understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Effective classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with students and parents.
- Commitment to the academic and personal growth of each student.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
- A valid DBS certificate is required.
