With a progression plan into Procurement Manager and then onto Procurement Director this is a fantastic opportunity with serious growth included. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Responsible for cost saving and supporting the Senior Management Team Liaising with internal and external stakeholders Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals. Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure timely procurement of necessary items. Collaborate with the production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and emerging suppliers. Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and new suppliers. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Analyse purchasing data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Candidate Profile: CIPS Qualification (desirable) Experience as a Buyer, preferably in the food industry Strong negotiation and communication skills Problem solving abilities
