The School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences at the University of Reading is seeking to appoint three Lecturers in Psychology (Teaching Intensive, fixed term) to join our collegiate and research-active staff team in Psychology. The appointed individuals will deliver high quality teaching and project supervision to students on our highly regarded undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Teaching and marking across a wide range of the Psychology programme will be required. The positions are available on a full-time (or part-time) fixed-term basis from 1/9/24 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful applicant will have a PhD in psychology or a related discipline, experience of teaching to a high standard at university level and will be committed to supporting an excellent student experience. They will also have a good knowledge of mainstream areas of psychology, including areas outside specialism. They will engage fully with the University’s open science practices and will be willing to contribute to the highly collaborative, inter-disciplinary and collegiate environment within the School and to develop collaborations with colleagues across campus and externally.
