Quality Inspector | £27,000 per annum | Poole

Purpose

As a Quality Inspector for this established engineering company in Poole, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring all final products meet customers' expectations , with each day varying dependant on the departments focus.

Your Benefits

Responsibilities

As a Quality Inspector , you will:

* Visually inspect aerospace components and assemblies against specifications

* Read and interpret technical drawings , converting between metric and imperial measurements

* Use a variety of inspection tools including verniers and micrometres

* Work with the production and assembly teams to trace and rectify defects

* Maintain reports and documentation of defects, identifying and reporting trends

* Be able to give feedback in constructive way to various departments regarding product defects

* Carry out inspection of raw materials to ensure company standards are met.

Background

The successful Quality Inspector will have:

* A background in engineering, whether this be from a professional role, education or hobbyist projects

* The ability to work within a small team with a proactive attitude

* A genuine passion for engineering , particularly if it is within the automotive space

* Good communication skills, able to liaise across various departments.
