Job Description

Team Leader Manufacturing Operations Paisley

Leading up to 15 staff

Shift Pattern

Early 6am - 2pm

Back 2pm - 10pm

Night 10pm - 6am

How will you make an impact?

As Team Leader, using your expertise, technical awareness, passion you will be responsible for leading and developing the team in the operations of the designated manufacturing work stream on a shift basis. You will coordinate and lead all aspects of the activities of shift personnel to ensure production schedules are met and processes are adhered to. You will successfully with confidence and clarity communicate information to management and the wider team, relative to the condition of the facility equipment and personnel performance, whilst providing suggestions for problem prevention / resolution. You will provide an outstanding and adaptable results driven customer service to ensure our service levels are exceeded. You will drive and encourage as a role model process improvement with integrity, passion and a safety first culture that adopts a quality orientated approach.

What will you do?

  • Supervise and provide leadership, direct, initiate and coordinate activities of all personnel on assigned shift; serve and deliver as the responsible Operations Team Leader on shift for designated value stream.

  • Ensure that any personnel issues or operational conditions are resolved, accurately recorded and reported, including safety and medical emergencies, regulatory agency interaction, and technical (process) issues.

  • Coordinate activities in a dynamic production area (s) to meet regulatory and production goals, including quality, cost and service objectives, whilst managing the deployment of personnel across all work areas and prioritizing production schedules.

  • Maintain accurate records of team performance, perform RTW interviews and other administrative

  • Improve communication, take ownership that will supply significantly to the collective success of the team, communicate openly, honestly and effectively with subordinates, peers, managers and senior leaders. Build strong interactive relationships with our manufacturing teams and support functions, focussed on exceeding our collective goals, whilst implementing our strategy.

  • Consider and utilise your problem solving skill options when making decisions, incorporate prioritisation. Appraise, improve and develop our processes.
