Position Overview:
As a Project Manager specialising in migrations, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end migration projects, from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and successful outcomes, leveraging your expertise to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and deliver value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead migration projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, taking into account dependencies and constraints.
- Coordinate with technical teams to assess system requirements, identify potential challenges, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage project execution, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and mitigating risks as they arise.
- Communicate project status, key milestones, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success, capture lessons learned, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, standards, and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on leading migration projects within the Tech or SaaS industry.
- Strong understanding of migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organise, and prioritise tasks and resources.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience working in Agile environments, with a solid understanding of Agile principles and practices.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
