Job Title: School Cook
Location: Longdon Park School, Egginton
Salary: £20,516.00 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.00-16.00
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a school cook to join our close-knit team at Longdon Park School located in Egginton.
About the role
As the School Cook, you will help provide high quality food and hospitality for our young people. Working to the highest on standards, ensuring dietary requirements of all the young people are met.
- Work alongside and /or on own to help prepare food and meals.
- General kitchen housekeeping, ensuring the kitchen meets high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in line with the Health and Safety and Company guidelines to ensure safe working practice within the school.
- Serving food/drinks/snacks to the young people at mealtimes.
- Cleaning after service (Dishwasher duties, clearing down tables, preparation benches).
To be successful with this role you should maintain the attitude, behaviour, skills and values below:

- Be self-motivated

Qualifications
- Health and hygiene Level 3
- Catering qualification (desired)

Longdon Park School opened in June 2015. We are a co-educational day school catering for pupils aged 7 to 18 with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviour primarily with a diagnosis of ASD. We provide a therapeutic, supportive and inclusive learning environment where our young people learn to accept responsibility for their actions, make positive decisions and display pro-social behaviour. We are committed to raising achievement and enabling pupils to recognise their potential and supporting them through a personalised, engaging curriculum. Our priority is to develop the foundation knowledge and skills required to make a manageable and smooth transition to the next life stage.
