You will assist with end-to-end planning, monitor project progress and set deadlines, manage risks and issues, prioritize tasks, drive operational readiness and conduct project meetings.
AS PART OF THE CONSULTING TEAM AT CAPCO, THE PROJECT MANAGER WILL
Manage workstreams (potentially leveraging Agile processes) and partner with clients, technology vendors, and project teams to ensure on-time, and on-budget, quality deliveryDevelop milestone-level project plans including key timelines, critical path, owners, and dependenciesBe responsible for tracking risks, issues and decisions, and mitigating risks to ensure the team can deliver with minimal blockersManage projects independently while managing teams of consultantsDevelop relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)Develop and deliver regular status reporting to key stakeholdersTO QUALIFY FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST HAVE
Experience leading large, complex projects and the ability to lead multiple project teams and projects simultaneouslyExperience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Confluence, Trello, etc.)Knowledge of Financial Services and Capital Markets is preferable, but not essentialComfortable working across business and IT domains and possess the ability to shift between technical analysis and business value discussionsEffective and flexible communication skillsProject Management qualifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification are preferable, but not essentialWHY JOIN CAPCO?
