HGV Mechanic

Location: Worcestershire

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00-17:30, some flex may be offered to work longer hours in the week for an early finish on Friday and overtime is available. Company shutdown over Easter and Christmas.

Salary: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour (dependant on experience and qualifications)

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV mechanic to join our client in Worcestershire who are a specialist manufacturer within their field. They have been established over 50 years and have a reputation for providing exceptional customer service and quality products.

Due to continuous investment and redevelopment, they have a new role to join their team within their purpose built after care centre. They offer service, repairs, refurbishment, and inspections to rescue & recovery, HGV, trailers, light commercial vehicles and coaches.

Duties:

• Routine vehicle service and maintenance to DVSA standards
• Fault finding, diagnostic and rectification skills
• Inspection and MOT preparation
• Completion of paperwork
• Providing exceptional customer service to customers

Experience required:

• HGV mechanical experience
• You need to have strong attention to detail and be comfortable managing paperwork
• Class 1 licence an advantage but not essential
• Be self-motivated and have good problem solving skills
