Supply Desk are seeking SEND teaching assistants for a primary school in the Andover

Starting from ASAP on a long-term contract

Up to £15ph dependant on experience

Hours: 08:30-4:30

Job Description:

  • Some experience with children with additional needs preferred (SEMH, ASC, ADHD etc)
  • Desire to work throughout Key stages1 and 2 (6-11 year olds)
  • Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Reading, Maths, Literacy, life skills and social skills
  • Part time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
  • Location: Andover
  • Start Date: September
  • Contract Length: Long Term Potential to become permanent

Individual Profile:

  • A nurturing and caring nature
  • GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
  • Experience of working with children/young people
  • Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
  • Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
  • First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
