We're looking for a Metering Technician to join our Anglian Water team based in Ipswich

Location: Ipswich

Contract: Permanent, full time

Salary: £12.55 per hour, plus weekly productivity bonus offering the opportunity to substantially increase your earnings

What will you be responsible for?

As a Metering Technician, you'll be working within the Metering department, where we work on maintaining, repairing and using technology to upgrade existing water meters to become part of the smart network.

Your day to day will include:
  • Your work will be dispatched to you via a tablet device
  • Visiting domestic and commercial properties within an allocated district
  • Installing and exchange water meters ensuring water hygiene regulations are maintained at all times
  • Communicate throughout the process with the customer
  • Surveying for the installation of internal and external water meters for properties
