Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader you will:

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on the companies assets
Trouble shoot issues relating to PLC's and SCADA
Respond quickly to reactive and emergency maintenance to minimis downtime
Ensure all maintenance data is entered correctly into the CMMS and complete any other maintenance logs/checks that are required correctly
Assist and be actively involved with capital projects
Ensure PAS110 tasks are carried out (where applicable)
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Risk Assessments (RA) for all tasks to ensure safe systems of work
Travel to different sites to provide support
Other duties as required

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

HNC in Engineering Practice/Electrical Engineering or modern apprenticeship or N/SVQ level 3 - Electrical ECITB or equivalent qualification with experience
IOSH is an advantage
18th edition is desired
FLT/Telehandler licence is desired

Personal skills

The Electrical Maintenance Technician role would suit someone who has:

Intricate knowledge of PLC's and SCADA
Knowledge and experience of following SOP's and RA
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
A proactive approach
Ability to multi-task
