The Governing Body wish to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and well-qualified teacher to lead the introduction of Business and Economics A level at our school.

St Paul’s School for Girls is an outstanding Catholic comprehensive school. Our students thrive in many ways and achieve excellent results, with a Progress 8 score of 1.4 for 2023. We are currently ranked by TES as the highest achieving comprehensive schools in the West Midlands.

The introduction of these courses is to further broaden our KS5 provision. Students have clearly expressed their interest in studying Business and Economics and demonstrated an increasing performance in complementary subjects at KS5. Candidates will have a passion for inspiring and engaging students with a track record of outstanding teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will be:

Responsible for teaching Business and Economics at A levelResponsible for leading Business and Economics at A level with the support of their line manager

The successful candidate must have:

The ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and parentsThe ability to inspire and engage students in Business and EconomicsA passion for promoting girls within under-represented subjectsA positive attitude towards helping students overcome barriers to learning
