We are seeking to appoint a committed and talented Maths-based Learning Mentor to join our team.

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Maths Learning Mentor to work primarily with the Maths department throughout our secondary academy to support the social, emotional and mental health wellbeing of our pupils. Your role will include one-to-one and small-group mentoring and support to improve academic progress and learning, including delivering a range of teaching and learning interventions to targeted pupils.

To be successful, you will:

Have experience working with children and families in overcoming barriers to learning.Work closely with staff and outside agencies to ensure the children at Nottingham Academy have excellent provision.Promote self-esteem and confidence and help children to become emotionally healthy.Have high expectations of yourself, striving for the best in everything you do.Be an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious team player open to learning and professional development.
