The roles currently being recruited for will focus on both immediate planning needs within Faculties and across Learning & Teaching and Professional Services, and the need to create a longer-term visionary plan for space and place utilisation across the University.
The University is focused on creating information-rich, future-facing learning and working environments, which are agile, hybrid, blended and efficient and which respond well to need. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the roles will help shift planning cycles from short term to longer-term, with the aim being to develop a clear master-plan for the future which will shape the investment and development plans for the University’s built environment.

As core part of Campus Planning and Design, our Space Planning Managers work within a multi-disciplinary studio environment and to help manage new referrals/requests for change and shape the future. The role will therefore include the need to plan ahead, shape space and placemaking and influence thinking about how to improve space and use space more effectively.
You should apply if
